**** FALL NOVICE POWER SKATING SESSIONS ****
The Kamloops Junior Blazers Hockey Development Program is excited to continue to have Michelle Pepin as our head power skating coach.
Michelle joined us from the lower mainland last season where she was the head power skating coach at the Richmond Olympic Oval and Richmond Minor Hockey where she created the "STRIDE" Power Skating Program. As our Power Skating coach, Michelle exposes our players to a number of styles and techniques all designed to provide them with the knowledge and tools to become the best skaters they can be. Some of what players will be learning may sound familiar; some will be completely new. Our instructor will provide you with the knowledge and training that will enhance and improve your overall hockey skating techniques.
We will be starting a new series of high intensity power skating clinics for the NOVICE DIVISION (2011 - 2010 born players). There will be 2 series of clinics as follows:
Series 1: Novice Division (2011 - 2010 birth years) will run Mondays from 3:15pm - 4:15pm at the NHL arena at Mac Park, beginning Sept 10 thru Oct 29. Cost is $195.00
*** There will be 7 sessions running on Sept 10. 17, 24, Oct 1, 15, 22, 29. There is no session on Oct 8 (Thanksgiving)
Series 2: Novice Division (2011 - 2010 birth years) will run Mondays from 3:15pm - 4:15pm at the NHL arena at Mac Park, beginning Nov 5 thru Dec 17. Cost is $195.00
*** There will be 7 sessions running on Nov 5, 12, 19, 26, Dec 3, 10, 17.
Participants can register for one or both the clinics listed above.
In order to maintain the highest level of integrity in the program and maximize player development in these sessions, class size will be limited to a maximum of 15 skaters on the ice.
As class size is limited and a high demand is expected for these sessions, registration will be on a first come basis. Registration fees must be paid prior to the first ice session, or your spot will be given to the next participant on the waitlist.
Please complete the registration form below.
