As well as being a full time teacher with school district 73, Crosby is also the head coach of the Brock Hockey academy and owns Crosby's Training Center, an athletic training center specializing in strength and conditioning to athletes of all ages.
Michelle is our head power skating coach. Michelle joins us from the lower mainland where she was the head power skating coach at the Richmond Olympic Oval and Richmond Minor Hockey where she created the "STRIDE" Power Skating Program. As our Power Skating coach, Michelle exposes our players to a number of styles and techniques all designed to provide them with the knowledge and tools to enhance and improve our players hockey skating techniques and become the best skaters they can be.
Michael Hails - Head Goalie Coach
Michael played at the highest levels within his age group. He has won numerous team titles and individual awards, culminating with a hockey scholarship at Lindenwood University where he played Division 1 in the ACHA for the Lindenwood Lions and won a National Championship in 2016. Over the past ten years while advancing his own playing career, Michael has been coached at and has coached with the David Marcoux School of Goaltending, and with Gold in the Net. When not training himself, Michael was an assistant and head instructor at both companies. He fully understands, believes, and supports the physical requirements of the goaltending position, and most importantly believes that mental readiness of being a goaltender is of equal or more importance.
Joe Hicketts - currently playing with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL)
"Mark and Crosby have been a big part of my career to date. Their ability to connect with young players on a personal and professional level is what sets them apart from others. From on ice skills to off ice training, the two of them combine to offer a program that not only develops your game but ultimately instills the values to help shape a young players' career"
Henrik and Johanna Sedin (Vancouver Canuck Captain)
"We feel fortunate for our son Harry to have had a wonderful experience skating with Michelle. She helped inspire not only a love of skating but also learning, and has given Harry the determination to continue in sports. Her approach is organized and positive. I would highly recommend Michelle as a skating coach for anyone wanting to excel and develop at any level of sport."
